How do I create object groupings?

Brandscopic enables easy creation of logical groups that can be referred to at later points in time and elsewhere in the system.

For example, Chris, George and Guillermo in the illustrative example below are all part of Brandscopic and all live in California. Our administrator may want to create a Team called "Brandscopic California" to easily refer to these individuals in the future.

At the time of this article, we had 6 groupings in the system.  More detail on these groupings can be found below.

1) Teams - Teams are groups of users defined by you.  For example, you may have a team in Chicago and want to easily refer to them. You could create a "Chicago team" and refer to them in other locations around the Brandscopic system.

2) Campaigns Campaigns are the heart of any marketing effort. Each campaign is a grouping of events usually centered around a common set of goals.  For example, one campaign could be introducing a new product for a vodka brand. If the vodka brand wanted to launch two new products, each of those would likely be a campaign as well.

3) Areas - Areas are groupings of locations or venues. For example, you may want to define the "Chicagoland Area" and include cities such as Chicago, Evanston, Winnetka, etc.  This allows you to easily recall these areas at a later date or elsewhere in the system.

4) Brand Portfolios - Brand Portfolios are groupings of individual brands or sub-brands. For example, the "Starwood Hotels" brand portfolio would include sub-brands such as The W, Westin Hotels, Sheraton, etc. This allows you to easily reference several brands elsewhere in the system.

5) Date Ranges - Date Ranges are groupings of specific dates or days. For example, you may want to define a "Holidays" date range and include Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, etc. in that grouping.

6) Day Parts - Day Parts are groupings of times or time ranges within a day. For example, you may want to define the "Morning" day part being between the hours of 8AM and 11AM.
